Best 80s Film?
Well posting in the Upcoming Films Forum motivated a couple of you to post, so I'm going to have a go at getting some discussions going in here too.

Unfortunately, I can only remember The Shining and Aliens, in enough detail to comment. Aliens was ok, but I'm not sure it should be in the top 10, or even the top 5. There must have been more than 4 films that were better? Nightmare on Elm Street? Back to the Future? The Superman sequels? Stand by Me? Hmm, I think the problem is I was a kid in the 80s and the people voting weren't ;-). I'd probably hate all the films I just mentioned, if I saw them for the first time as an adult.
On the plus side, I do think The Shining belongs in the top 10. So what do you think?
