New website design

As you can see we’ve redesigned the website. Your feedback told us that a lot of you thought the site design was “too futuristic” and gave the impression that we’re "only interested in making a Sci-Fi movie." So we’ve listened to your feedback and have a simpler, less futuristic design. Don’t worry, all your login details are still the same and the site works exactly the same as the old one did. We’ve also added some new features.

First, members can now submit their own news. If you have a film project or event that you would like to promote, or have heard some film news that you think will be of interest to other members, just login and click on the Submit News link in the top navigation (the link is only there after you log in).

We’ve also added more news pages. As well as the site updates page, we now have a film news and events page, as well as British film news, Hollywood news and worldwide news from other websites.

You can now watch live TV and film trailers on this site. To watch trailers, click on "Watch Film Trailers" and choose the trailer you want to see, from the drop down menu. Our live TV automatically plays the Indie Filmmakers channel, but you can use the dropdown menus to choose from many other TV channels. The Indie Filmmakers channel is a new online TV channel "dedicated to helping Indie Filmmaker's find a voice in the community."
